The witness was provisionally withdrawn after he disputed contents of a statement that police had taken from him. The court then ruled that a trial-within-a trial be conducted to determine whether the witness made the statement or not. He was also declared a hostile witness.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Imanuela David and co-accused, siblings Florianah and Ndilinasho Joseph, are facing several charges for the burglary which happened in February 2020.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The witness, who is a colleague to accused number one, Immanuela David at a private security company, confirmed that the signature in the statement is his, but disputed the contents of the statement. He said statement \u00a0was presented to him by police and he was ordered to sign it.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>About seven of the twenty-two state witness lined up have testified.
