Private equity firm Harith General Partners is preparing to acquire South African (SA) low-cost airline FlySafair as the $3 billion asset manager expands its transport portfolio across the continent. 

A new feasibility study published by the Localisation Support Fund (LSF) has found that South Africa’s (SA) garment manufacturing sector could supply an additional 81 million garments a year to domestic retailers by 2030 if supported by the right industrial development and policy reforms.
