Specialist crime investigator Mike Bolhuis has rejected social media speculation that the attempted murder case against Bellarmine Mugabe, son of the late Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, and co‑accused Tobias Matonhodze in South Africa, could be withdrawn due to a missing firearm allegedly used in the shooting. 

The illegal trade and trafficking of waste, including highly toxic materials, is expanding across continents and could intensify further unless governments strengthen laws and enforcement, the United Nations (UN) Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) warned on Wednesday.
