International Relations Expert Dr Emmanuel Matambo has described the appointment of veteran politician Roelf Meyer as South Africa’s (SA) new Ambassador to the United States (US) as a pragmatic and strategic move, aimed at restoring strained ties between Pretoria and Washington.
