[ON AIR] The South African Democratic Teachers' Union -
South African Democratic Teachers' Union - SADTU, has condemned the arrest, harassment, intimidation and reported abduction of Lot Vilakati, General Secretary of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers (SNAT), along with ...other public sector union leaders in Eswatini.
The incident reportedly occurred while these leaders were peacefully delivering a petition to the Prime Minister's Office which SADTU says is an act that falls squarely within their legitimate democratic and trade union rights.
To shed more light on this issue, @TsepisoMakwetla is joined on the line by Dr Mugwena Maluleke, SADTU's General Secretary.
